Hydronic Air Handler The HWFC Series of hydronic air handlers are designed to be installed in any residential or light commercial warm air application. The HWFC is an integral component of a complete heating system that utilizes an oil or gas-fired hot water boiler as its primary heating source and a dedicated duct system. All HWFC models are designed to accept add-on air conditioning equipment to provide centralized comfort conditioning in all seasons. Available in three sizes, the HWFC offers a full range of heating and cooling capacities-up to 147, 250 BTU/h heating and cooling from 3 to 5 tons (36,000-60,000 BTU/h). Applications The HWFC offers the economy and comfort advantages of a hydronic heating source. Ideal as retrofits or replacements for less efficient electric or heat pump systems. Installation of a boiler and an HWFC hydronic fan coil unit offers the homeowner maximum flexibility, economy and comfort. This equipment offers an excellent solution for the delivery of heating to multiple floors when a hot water radiant system is utilized on the first floor. The addition of the air conditioning coil and condenser offers cooling through the duct system. Add an indirect domestic water heater and gain additional economies and comfort from the integrated hydronic heating system. Easy Installation & Maintenance The HWFC low cabinet design can be installed upflow, downflow or horizontal either side, providing installation flexibility in retrofits, replacements, or new construction. The HWFC is equipped with an external filter rack whose location is determined by the installation requirements. Warranty One year parts, 5 year coil warranty is standard.
